Lend a Helping Hand

Credit

Wake up and do something more than dream of your mansion above.  Doing good is a pleasure, a joy beyond measure, a blessing of duty and love.

"If you come upon a person who is drowning, would you ask if they need help—or would it be better to just jump in and save them from the deepening waters? The offer, while well meaning and often given, “Let me know if I can help” is really no help at all." - Elder Ronald A. Rasband

Happy Birthday President Eyring

Source

Happy Birthday, President Henry B. Eyring!  Here's a little quote to celebrate his special day!

"You and I have faith that the way to rise through and above trials is to believe that there is a 'balm in Gilead' and that the Lord has promised, 'I will not...forsake thee.'"

He Loves You! Oh, How He Loves You!

"God's spirit of love is with us. He loves you--oh, how he loves you--for the righteous desires of your heart, for the good that you do, for your hunger to serve him and bless his children. But more than that he loves *you.* He loves *who* you are. He loves you unconditionally. He loves the whole you, *all* of you, not just the good parts or the disciplined parts or the parts that serve. He loves your history, even if your past has been sorrowful and painful, not just the present of service and the future of righteousness we all long for. He is with you. He wants you to feel him with you, to trust him enough to acknowledge his presence . . . Let him fill you with joy and consolation."
